Have always had a great experience at this place. Food is delicious and service is on point.

Good food and good service. Lots of good choices for a vegetarian.

Average Mexican fair and lots of it. Excellent service that we had when I ate there for lunch with a large group of 15 which they handled very easily on the outdoor patio in front. The food was served hot, and the iced tea was refilled often.

You have to go to El Chile Rojo! The food is fantastic, even better than anywhere in Greenville that I’ve been to, and the owners and staff are amazing! You won’t be dissapointed!

Great Mexican food. Always enjoy a meal here.

No masks worn by anyone, front of house or in the kitchen. The manager told me that it's too difficult to work in a mask. We had already ordered, were served but didn't eat the food. Manager charged us full price and noted that we were not wearing masks either; but we were sitting outside. Tough times for the dining industry but the impetus is on us all to prevent outbreaks. We won't eat here again.

Good salsa! Comfortable environment. Foods not bad either.

Mexican restaurant been around Landrum for years still very good

First time here. Very enjoyable!!Delicious food --- and not your typical chain Mexican restaurant where menu item #5 is the same wherever you go.Staff was friendly and warm.There is a parking lot behind the restaurant with a walkway right into it --- in case you aren't fortunate enough to find a space on the street.Had the fish tacos which were pretty good! Still cannot find any like in SoCal, but these were good.

We went to El Chili Rojo again last night and the food was amazing! You have to try the Pollo Fundido, and their mild salsa is the best I have had, period! You can tell they make the food from fresh ingredients and if you are near Landrum you have to go there!!

This is a wonderful little Mexican restaurant I've been coming to religiously for years! The staff is always super friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. The food is always great, and the prices are very reasonable. I've never had a bad experience here. In fact I was here once when the whole town of landrum lost power in a crazy thunderstorm, and they still served me... Nothing but great things to say about this establishment. The only downside is, they are closed on Sundays, but.... So is my business so, can't fault them for that at all.

The food is always good here a nice place to come by and grab dinner. The staff is always super friendly and ready to get you whatever you need.

Best mexican food around

It was great. We had a burrito so big we could have shared it. It also had a covered patio that was very comfortable even on a sweltering afternoon. Great for people watching in the.lovely town of Landrum.

Had a great lunch today for our first visit.( It won't be our last). Great outdoor patio.. And they have ceveche! Hard to find in most Mexican restaurants in the area. Will be back soon!

Friendly service good food

Awesome place for authentic Mexican food and beverage, outside seating on main Street, at the bar or at a table, I have enjoyed El Chile Rojo since Phillipe opened the door well over 20 years ago.

Nice place to sit and enjoy the company of my family. Sitting outside watching the world pass by.

The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. We absolutely loved the environment of this place. Awesome place to take my family out for lunch.

They have very good salsa and chips, that’s about where the positives end. The food is disgusting and the service is about as good as the food. Not only is the food trash, but it’s also over priced.

This place had a friendly atmosphere that most will enjoy. The staff where great and the wait for food was short. I will come back for more.

Wife got sick. This place is gross and has went downhill. Wont be back.

I visit this unique place often as I enjoy the good mood that is outline this place. The staff is exceptionally welcoming and skilfull. The service is exceptionally fast. Not to mention, the food you eat is highly distinguished. I frequent often and I was always satisfied. The payment is reasobable. I suggest this place to all my friends.

Great food at a great price.

This is one of my favorite Mexican Restaurants of all times. I love visiting Mexico and enjoy the ambiance of El Chile Rojo. It has a real Mexico flavor to it, whether sitting at the bar with the hand made Mexican tile or outside listening to the street noise. Trucks go by. Semis go by...It real feels like Mexico to me. The food is excellent and the cocktail moderately priced.

By far some of the best Fajita's ive had in a long time.... Servers was welcoming and kept my cup full. Highly Recommend this place.

Wonderful service

Nice atmosphere, very accommodating service, great food and polite servers. This was my first visit to this restaurant. We usually eat at the Monterrey Mexican Restaurant and we now feel that El Chile Rojo is our new top choice for Mexican food.

My chori polo was delicious. Chips and salsa were tasty and fresh. Margarita tasted like a mix.

The survise is the best around

I have enjoyed eating here for years, staff is friendly, very clean and food is always good. It seems to get better each year.

I adore this place! They offer great dishes, their menu is nice, The chef in that restaurant is very trained, I like a lot tasting all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the service towards the clients is good. I often eat in this place and I was never unhappy. I recommend it to all.

I eat here everyday and the foods always amazing and the staff are always cheerful. Definitely would recommend!!!
